Job summary

Plug Power is seeking a Field Service Technician to support fuel cell systems installed in electric lift trucks at a Monroe, OH site. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and field upgrades, while documenting service logs and communicating with customers.

This role requires strong electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, a valid driver\'s license, lift truck knowledge, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. You will travel as needed and represent Plug Power professionally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework.
• 3+ years of direct mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Must have valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Lift truck knowledge preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and service of fuel cells at customer sites.
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting, and evaluations to maintain fleet at a location.
• Field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades to existing fuel cells.
• On-call and emergency support as required.
• Purchasing tools, equipment, and parts for service.
• Travel as required; represent Plug Power professionally.
• Maintain safety procedures and document service logs.
