Job summary

Plug Power is seeking a Field Service Technician to support our fuel cell products installed in electric lift trucks. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair breakdowns, and service fuel cells at a specified site with some travel to other locations.

Requirements include a high school diploma with electrical coursework and 3+ years of mechanical/electrical troubleshooting. A valid driver's license and ability to lift 50 lbs are required, along with basic MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework.
• Three or more years of direct mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Formal training may be considered in lieu of direct experience.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and service of fuel cells at customer sites.
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting and evaluations to maintain the fleet.
• Field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades to existing fuel cells.
• On-call and emergency support; order parts as required.
• Maintain safety procedures and complete service documentation.
