Job summary

Plug Power Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to service fuel cell systems installed in electric lift trucks at customer sites. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and fix breakdowns, and report issues while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework.
• Three or more years of direct mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Formal training may be considered in lieu of direct experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and service of fuel cells at customer sites.
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting, and evaluations to maintain the fleet at a location.
• Field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades to existing fuel cells.
• On-call and emergency support to customers as required.
• Purchase of tools, equipment, and parts for customer service and support as required.
• Travel to customer sites as needed; drive safely and adhere to traffic laws.
• Represent Plug Power professionally in all interactions.
• Complete administrative duties and documentation.
