Job summary

Plug Power Inc. is hiring a Field Service Technician to support fuel cell systems in electric lift trucks. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics and field upgrades at a customer site, with on-call support and parts coordination.

The role requires 3+ years in mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, a valid driver's license and the ability to lift 50 pounds. Travel to client locations and strict safety adherence are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma with technical electrical coursework.
• 3+ years of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Valid driver license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Strong communication and safety focus when working with customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and service of fuel cells at customer sites.
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting and fleet evaluations at a location.
• Field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades for fuel cells.
• Provide on-call and emergency support to customers.
• Purchasing tools, equipment and parts for service needs.
• Maintain incident reports, service logs and site docs.
• Adhere to safety procedures in the field and at sites.
• Travel to customer sites as required for business needs.
