Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to support customers on-site in the Irving, TX area. The role requires basic troubleshooting of Canon products, travel with a valid license, and the ability to work 24/7 shifts.

The ideal candidate will have a HS diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of related experience, with a willingness to obtain necessary security clearances. A daily transportation allowance is provided along with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 1–2 years related experience required.
• Basic understanding of internet environments.
• Must travel with valid driver’s license and clean record.
• Capable of 24/7 operations including shift work and on-call rotations.
• Must obtain required security/clearances for customer sites.
• Able to lift 50 lb and stay active more than 50% of time.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using documented procedures.
• Service and repair Canon equipment to standards and specifications.
• Maintain knowledge of multiple product groups; perform basic troubleshooting.
• Meet customer demands with efficient, responsive field maintenance.
• Maintain Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property.
• Provide direction to less experienced technicians when needed.
• Escalate technical or customer service issues as required.
