Job summary

Waters Corporation is seeking a motivated Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair advanced life science instrumentation at varied client locations. You will ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction with cutting-edge technologies.

The role requires 3–5 years of field service experience in life sciences or medical devices, strong troubleshooting, and ability to travel extensively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field is preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of field service engineering experience in life sciences or medical devices.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for electromechanical and optical systems.

Responsibilities

• Installations, calibrations, preventive maintenance and repairs of laboratory instruments (liquid handlers, mass spectrometers, sequencers, cell analyzers).
• Diagnose issues using schematics, diagnostics tools and manuals; provide rapid resolutions.
• Provide training to customers on operation and basic maintenance of equipment.
• Maintain service records in the CRM system and manage spare parts inventory.
• Collaborate with sales, support and R&D to feedback product performance and needs.
• Adhere to FDA, GMP and safety guidelines.
• Travel extensively to client sites within the region; build strong customer relationships.
