Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, construction, supply chain, operations management, or equivalent project experience.
• 2–5 years of capital equipment material control experience.
• 2+ years onsite experience in large-scale construction.
• OSHA 10-hour Construction Certificate (OSHA 30 preferred).
• Experience in Advanced Manufacturing projects is ideal.
• Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills.
• 2+ years with Materials Management software/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of material control processes, procedures, and tools.
• Utilize established policies, procedures, systems, and tools.
• Review shipment release documents and ensure approvals align with PO terms and material control plan.
• Advise stakeholders on creating shipment releases and understanding the authorization process.
• Administer MRRs, MIRs, OS&Ds and related reports.
• Maintain a materials preservation register.
• Evaluate material control issues and apply remedies.
• Maintain material control documentation in a repository.
• Identify and advise management of material control risks.
• Coordinate OS&D resolution with project/department personnel.
