Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Field Material Controller for Advanced Manufacturing with on-site duties in Saint Francisville, LA. You will manage material control processes, review shipping documents, and support procurement activities under supervision, ensuring timely delivery and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, construction, supply chain, operations management, or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of capital equipment material control experience.
• 2+ years on-site experience in large-scale construction environments.
• OSHA 10-hour Construction Certificate (OSHA 30 preferred).
• Experience in Advanced Manufacturing projects.
• Strong MS Excel and MM software experience (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of material control processes and project delivery.
• Review shipment release documentation and approve shipment authorizations per PO terms.
• Advise stakeholders on shipment releases and overall authorization process.
• Administer MRRs, MIRs, and OS&Ds.
• Maintain materials preservation records and material control documentation.
• Identify material control risks and assist in OS&D resolution.
• Coordinate with project staff on material control activities.
