Job summary

Greystar is hiring a Service Technician to maintain physical aspects of the property, including apartments, grounds, and amenities. Duties include completing work orders, making-ready units for leasing, and ensuring safety and cleanliness across the community.

The ideal candidate holds EPA refrigerant certifications (Type I/II/Universal) and a valid driver's license. The role may require evening or weekend availability and travel to assist other properties as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical skills and ability to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Ability to follow safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Valid EPA refrigerant certification and valid driver’s license are required.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Performs make-ready tasks to prepare vacant units for leasing and move-ins.
• Obtains materials and coordinates with vendors/contractors as needed.
• Documents service activities promptly and accurately for tracking.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; assists with cleaning and minor repairs.
• Supports cost-control by repairing parts rather than replacing when feasible.
