Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of the property, ensuring cleanliness, safety and overall functionality. The role covers completing work orders, making-ready vacant units, inventory management, and routine inspections on an onsite property.

Requirements include EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1 & II or Universal) and a valid driver’s license. Benefits are provided and on-site housing discounts may apply at Greystar-managed communities.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1 and II or Universal) required.
• State and local jurisdiction certifications as required for service technicians.
• Valid driver's license to operate on-property carts where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Handles make-ready process for vacant units and inspects completed work.
• Manages materials and inventory from maintenance department and notifies supervisor for re-orders.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; assists with cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-saving practices by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
