Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of our properties, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and functionality. You will diagnose and repair defects, complete make-ready tasks, manage inventory, and document requests for tracking.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as needed. Benefits and housing discounts are provided onsite.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance and operate/repair systems per policy.
• EPA refrigerant certifications required for technicians.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel on-site as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Make-ready and punch list tasks for vacant apartments prior to leasing.
• Manage materials and inventory, order supplies, and coordinate with vendors.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; assist in cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by fixing components rather than replacing parts.
