Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of the property, including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas. You will respond to service requests, perform preventative maintenance, and prepare vacant units for leasing through a thorough make-ready process.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience performing preventive maintenance and repairs on building systems.
• Ability to complete make-ready processes for vacant apartments.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills with timely updates.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing and move-ins.
• Follows procedures to access materials and tracks inventory, returning unused items.
• Completes documentation and paperwork for service requests.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas and amenities.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible.
