Job summary

JLL is seeking an Operating Engineer to maintain and monitor critical building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and water systems, ensuring uptime and compliance with SLAs. You will analyze operations, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventive maintenance under the Engineering Manager's direction.

Responsibilities include overseeing contractor activities, maintaining logs, and following emergency procedures, with a focus on sustainable and efficient operations in a collaborative

Qualifications

High School diploma, GED or technical training/degree.
3+ years' experience in facilities operations, maintenance, and engineering.
Electrical license (01, 07, or 06A).
Technical knowledge of critical environments, HVAC, and infrastructure.
Proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

Maintain and monitor building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and air conditioning equipment.
Record readings and adjust systems to ensure proper operation.
Analyze operations to identify and resolve problems and take corrective actions.
Oversee contractor activities and ensure they are informed about critical functions.
Maintain detailed engineering logs, data sheets, and records of rounds.
