Job summary

Veloxity is seeking an IT & Hardware Technician to support live events across North America. You will load content onto charging stations, touch screens, and LED displays, configure software, and ensure gear works pre-, during, and post-event.

You'll troubleshoot hardware and software, provide customer support, and assist with warehouse duties. Occasional travel to events is required and close collaboration with the CTO will help improve reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience with computer hardware, software installation, or electronics troubleshooting.
• Comfortable working with Windows computers and learning new technology.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot independently.
• Good communication skills and comfortable assisting customers over the phone.
• Strong attention to detail and able to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Loading graphics, videos, branding, and applications onto charging stations, touch screens, and LED displays.
• Configuring software and device settings for upcoming events.
• Testing equipment before and after events to ensure everything is working properly.
• Troubleshooting and repairing computers, charging stations, touch screens, and LED displays.
• Performing software updates, hardware repairs, and routine equipment maintenance.
• Answering technical support calls and helping customers troubleshoot issues remotely.
• Working with CTO to resolve technical issues and improve equipment reliability.
• Assisting the operations team with picking, packing, and preparing equipment for daily shipments.
• Inspecting and organizing equipment returning from events.
• Occasionally traveling to events for equipment setup and on-site technical support.
