Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment. You will ensure customer satisfaction by delivering reliable technical service and timely on-site support.

Responsibilities include equipment setup/strike, troubleshooting, client communication, accurate paperwork, and working with event staff to meet client expectations. A practical driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• External applicants must meet/certify all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members who may operate company vehicles.
• DOT requirements may apply.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, operates, and breaks down basic audiovisual equipment to ensure flawlessly executed events.
• Exceeds customer expectations and maintains positive client relationships.
• Troubleshoots and resolves equipment and software issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Completes system entry and paperwork accurately and uses equipment sheets to schedule and stage equipment.
• Interacts with clients and vendors to finalize invoices and coordinate services.
