Legends Global seeks an Event Services Manager to lead planning, coordination, and on-site execution at the Mesa Convention Center. You will work closely with clients, venue staff, and service providers, balancing multiple events, schedules, and stakeholder needs.

The role demands a highly organized, customer-focused leader who thrives under pressure and can supervise staff while ensuring exceptional event experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; four-year college or university.
• Minimum two years of management-level event coordination experience in a convention center or similar facility.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of facility management, services, and equipment.

Responsabilités

• Supervise staff and oversee facility operations for events.
• Meet with clients to plan meetings and events.
• Coordinate activities with service contractors.
• Explain contract provisions, policies, and procedures to clients.
• Inform clients on deadlines, floor plans, insurance, and set-up specs.
• Prepare cost estimates and monitor billing.
• Communicate detailed requirements to operations teams.
• Schedule operational set-ups and equipment needs.
• Supervise facility set-up when needed.
• Train Event Services staff.
• Act as primary liaison between clients and facilities.
• Monitor events and follow up on client requests and issues.
• Participate in relevant planning and facility meetings.
• Serve as Manager on duty as required.
