Job summary

Legends Global is seeking an Event Coordinator for Mesa Convention Center, Mesa, AZ. This on-site role plans and coordinates event logistics, liaises with clients, service contractors, and venue staff to ensure seamless events from setup to wrap.

You will interpret contracts, manage schedules, and communicate requirements clearly to operations. A Bachelor's degree and 1–2 years of related experience are required; MS Office and organizational skills are essential; occasional nights and weekends

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year University.
• 1–2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Meets with clients and/or their liaison(s) to plan and organize event logistics.
• Coordinates activities with the various service contractors for events.
• Guides clients in the preparation of events by interpreting and explaining contract provisions, policies, and procedures.
• Keeps clients informed as to status of deadline schedules, including floor plan submissions and insurance requirements.
• M​akes check requests and event related purchases.
• Provides clear, concise, and timely communications of detailed requirements to Operations personnel.
• Assists in scheduling operational set-ups to provide equipment or service needs and supervises facility set-up when necessary.
• Serves as primary liaison between clients and facility departments.
• Monitors in-house events, maintains close contact with clients and staff to ensure successful events.
• Attends planning and other meetings in support of facility operations.
