Job summary

Encore seeks a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hotel/conference environment. You will ensure guest satisfaction by delivering reliable AV service and smooth event execution, working under the Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology.

The role requires basic AV operation skills, strong customer service, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Training is provided, and schedule may include irregular hours and on-call status.

Qualifications

• Must have customer service or hospitality experience.
• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• External applicants must meet training and certification requirements within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate basic audiovisual equipment for events.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain client relationships on site.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues promptly and professionally.
• Document equipment needs and job details in Navigator and related systems.
