Job summary

Acentra Health is seeking an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Clinician to serve a large government agency. The licensed clinician will deliver a full range of EAP services to employees, managers, and the employer, with occasional regional travel.

Responsibilities include direct counseling, incident response, trainings, referrals, and community resource linkages, while adhering to HIPAA and company policies in a collaborative, client-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted independent licensed clinician in the behavioral health field (Minnesota).
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in EAP/mental health/substance abuse/behavioral health.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct counseling, critical incident response services, training or psychoeducational presentations, and outreach services for EAP clients.
• Make referrals to treatment services when appropriate; ensure smooth transitions from EAP to treatment.
• Refer to community resources to support clients’ well-being and mental health.
• Comply with Clinical and Professional protocols, processes, and Acentra Health policies.
• Maintain a caseload of direct service counseling clients and keep case records per policy.
• Adhere to HIPAA and Privacy/Security Rules; read and follow all corporate policies.
