Job summary

Acentra Health seeks an on-site Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Clinician in Seattle, WA for full‑time work. The licensed clinician will provide a full range of EAP services for employees, managers, and a large government agency, with a 40 hours/week schedule and occasional travel as needed.

Responsibilities include direct counseling, incident response, trainings, referrals to treatment, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted behavioral health license in WA or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, MFT, or related field.
• 2+ years of professional EAP/mental health/substance abuse experience.
• Ability to pass federal security clearance (background, fingerprinting, drug screen).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct counseling, incident response, training, and outreach for EAP services.
• Refer clients to treatment services and ensure smooth transitions from EAP.
• Refer to community resources to support client well‑being and mental health.
• Comply with Clinical protocols, processes, and Acentra Health policies.
• Understand and communicate the scope of EAP services to clients and staff.
• Consult with supervisors on clinical staffing and high‑risk cases.
• Maintain a caseload and accurate case records per policies.
• Build productive relationships with local points of contact and teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to tailor product enhancement needs.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal skills to retain and serve clients.
• Maintain security of areas, materials, and private information.
• Represent Acentra Health with a professional demeanor.
• Perform daily duties with minimal supervision and complete related projects.
• Adhere to HIPAA, Privacy and Security Rules.
