Job summary

Acentra Health is seeking an on-site Employee Assistance Program (EAP) clinician in San Francisco, CA. The licensed professional will deliver a full range of EAP services to employees, managers, and the employer organization for a large government agency.

Work schedule is 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM. Some travel to site visits may be required, with transportation and lodging coordinated by Acentra Health.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted California-licensed clinician (e.g., LCSW/LMFT/LPCC) issued by the CA licensing board.
• 2+ years of professional experience in EAP/mental health.
• Ability to pass a federal security clearance for a public trust position.
• Includes fingerprinting and a background investigation.
• Compliance with HIPAA and privacy rules is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct counseling and critical incident response services.
• Refer to community resources to support clients' well-being.
• Maintain caseload with thorough documentation per policies.
• Collaborate with supervisors on clinical staffing and high-risk cases.
• Adhere to HIPAA, privacy, and organizational protocols.
