Job summary

Acentra Health in Minneapolis, Minnesota, seeks an on-site Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Clinician to provide a full range of EAP services for employees, managers, and the employer organization for a large government agency. Work 40 hours per week with occasional travel throughout the region, and reimbursements for transportation or lodging.

The licensed clinician will maintain caseloads, provide direct counseling, crisis response, and outreach, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and company

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Minnesota licensed clinician in behavioral health.
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in the EAP/mental health/substance abuse/behavioral health field.
• Ability to pass a federal security clearance for a non-sensitive/high-risk public trust position.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct counseling and crisis response services as a licensed clinician.
• Deliver psychoeducational presentations and outreach to raise awareness of EAP services.
• Make referrals and ensure smooth transitions from EAP to treatment services.
• Refer clients to community resources to support well-being and mental health.
• Comply with clinical protocols, processes, and company policies.
• Maintain caseloads and accurate records per policies.
• Collaborate with supervisors and account managers to support client needs.
