Job summary

Acentra Health, LLC seeks an on-site Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Clinician in San Diego, CA to join our growing team. This full-time role requires California licensure, provides comprehensive EAP services to a large government agency, and involves occasional travel within the region.

Work schedule is 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday 8–5, with a focus on direct counseling, crisis response, and client support.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license in behavioral health issued by CA Regulation and Licensing Dept.
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field.
• 2+ years in EAP/mental health/substance abuse/behavioral health.
• Ability to pass federal security clearance (fingerprinting, background check, drug screen).

Responsibilities

• Provide full range of EAP services for employees and employer organization.
• Provide direct counseling, crisis response, training, and psychoeducational presentations.
• Refer to treatment services and community resources as needed.
• Maintain and manage caseload and case records per policies.
• Collaborate with account managers and other staff for service optimization.
