Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking an enterprising System Administrator to develop and implement Windows- and Linux-based engineering solutions within a government software hosting facility, with full-time on-site presence at the NAVAIR base in PAX River, MD.

The role requires an active Secret clearance with potential to obtain Top Secret after starting. RMF/STIG/ACAS experience and a Windows or Linux certification are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of system administration experience.
• Experience with RMF, STIG, ACAS scanning.
• Certification in Windows or Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering solutions for a government hosting facility.
• Deploy and maintain hardware, VMs, and containers.
• Perform maintenance, config changes, and troubleshooting on servers and IT equipment.
• Maintain backups, disaster recovery plans, and security posture.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and software deployments.
• Document configurations and incident responses; support customers.
