Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking an on-site System Administrator to develop and implement Windows- and Linux-based engineering solutions within a government hosting facility at the NAVAIR base in PAX River, MD.

The role requires an ACTIVE Secret clearance with potential for Top Secret after start, and a strong focus on RMF/STIG/ACAS compliance. The position offers full-time employment, competitive compensation ranging from $75,000 to $150,000 per year, and benefits including ESOP and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Active Security+ certification required or equivalent.
• Experience evaluating RMF compliance including STIG and ACAS scanning.
• Certification in Windows or Linux environment required.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering solutions for government software hosting facilities.
• Deploy and maintain physical and virtual hardware infrastructure, including VMs and containers.
• Perform routine maintenance and configuration changes on servers, workstations, and IT equipment.
• Maintain system backups and disaster recovery plans.
• Manage user accounts and permissions; deploy and maintain software applications.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain documentation (KB, incidents, configurations).
• Provide customer support and guidance on best practices.
• Maintain security posture per DoD guidance and continuous monitoring.
