Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mid-level Desktop Support Technician to provide direct desk-side IT support at a government site in Dahlgren, VA. You will troubleshoot hardware and software, manage tickets, and support the Field Services team on a range of devices and networks.

Qualifications include US citizenship, DoD Secret Clearance, a high school diploma with 4+ years of relevant experience, and DoD 8570 IAT Level II: Security+ or higher.

Qualifications

• US Citizens have DoD access to government systems.
• DoD Secret Clearance required.
• HS diploma with 4+ years of relevant experience or equivalent education.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II: Security+ or higher certification.
• Experience with Windows OS, version 10.
• Experience with service desk ticket systems (HP Service Manager/Remedy).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage resolution of customer tickets per SLAs.
• Ensure proper ticket handling per guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve user computer issues (hardware/software).
• Complete customer tasks within timelines.
• Troubleshoot local/network devices (MFDs, printers).
• Assist other technicians with complex issues.
