Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Sr-level Desktop Support Technician to support a government site in Indian Head, MD as part of the Field Services team. You will provide desk-side and basic network support to the customer, troubleshooting and repairing IT devices.

Role requires US citizenship, DoD Secret Clearance, and Security+ or higher certification; experience with Windows 10 and service desk tools; strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• US Citizen required for DoD site access.
• DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Security+ or higher certification per DoD 8570 IAT Level II.
• High School diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent education/certifications.
• Experience with Windows OS and IT service/help desk tools.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve user computer issues (hardware/software).
• Assist junior technicians and manage tickets per SLAs.
• Coordinate with teams to resolve local and networked MFD/printers.
• Diagnose network layer 1 issues and assist with VoIP/VTC problems.
• Provide premier desk-side support to VIP and executive customers.
