Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mid-level Desktop Support Technician to support a government site at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island as part of the Field Services team. You will provide direct desk-side IT support, troubleshoot devices, and ensure tickets meet SLAs in a government environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating site operations, assisting other technicians, and serving as backup to the Site Operations Lead.

Qualifications

• US Citizen
• DoD Secret Clearance
• HS diploma with 4+ years of prior relevant experience (or related education/certifications)
• Valid DoD 8570 IAT Level II: Security+ or higher Certification
• Must demonstrate expertise in IT Enterprise Operations
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manage the resolution of customer tickets according to established SLAs
• Plan, direct, monitor operational and training activities of the site
• Establish relationship with internal customers and other functional managers
• Manage the resolution of customer tickets according to established SLAs
• Assist other technicians in resolving complex issues
• Serve as backup to the Site Operations Lead
