Job summary

Unisys in Denton, TX is seeking an On-Site Service Engineer to provide hands-on server hardware support in data center environments. You will diagnose, repair, and replace components in Dell PowerEdge servers and other enterprise hardware, perform rack-and-stack tasks, and coordinate with customers during service events.

The role requires 3+ years of direct hardware experience, strong fault isolation skills, familiarity with BIOS/firmware updates and iDRAC, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise servers
• Experience with memory, CPUs, power supplies, storage, NICs, and PCIe components
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs, travel to customer sites, and work in customer-facing environments

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support for Dell PowerEdge and enterprise server hardware
• Diagnose and repair server hardware failures to minimize downtime
• Perform hardware installation, replacement, and rack-and-stack activities
• Document service activities and escalation steps clearly
