Ampcus Inc. is seeking an On-site Service Engineer to provide hands-on technical support for enterprise server hardware in a data center environment in Afton, TX. The role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining server components and performing rack-and-stack activities.

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise servers and data center hardware.
Direct hands-on experience with installing, diagnosing, repairing, and replacing server hardware.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site technical support for Dell PowerEdge and other enterprise server hardware.
Diagnose and resolve server hardware failures to minimize downtime.
Perform hardware installation, removal, replacement, and repair (memory, CPUs, power supplies, fans, drives, RAID/HBA, NICs, GPUs).
Rack-and-stack, server installation, cabling, and hardware configuration.
Troubleshoot BIOS/firmware, OS, and hardware diagnostics; perform firmware updates.
Use server management tools such as Dell iDRAC; follow documented procedures.
