Job summary

Ampcus Inc. is seeking an experienced On-Site Service Engineer to provide hands-on support for enterprise data center servers and hardware environments, including next-generation AI infrastructure.

This is a hands-on server hardware and break/fix role with direct experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining enterprise server hardware in data centers, field service, or customer-facing environments. Availability for 1st-3rd shifts and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise servers
• Experience installing, diagnosing, repairing server components
• Experience with memory, CPUs, power supplies, storage, RAID/HBA
• Experience with rack-mounted servers in a data center or field service environment
• Strong server hardware troubleshooting methodologies
• Familiarity with Linux or similar operating systems
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel to customer sites

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support for Dell PowerEdge and other enterprise server hardware
• Diagnose and resolve server hardware failures and system issues to minimize downtime
• Perform hands-on hardware installation, removal, replacement, and repair of server components
• Perform rack-and-stack activities and hardware configuration
• Troubleshoot issues involving BIOS/firmware and diagnostics
• Document service activities and resolutions for customers and internal teams
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide extended coverage as required
