Job summary

Ampcus Inc is seeking an On-Site Service Engineer to provide hands-on support for enterprise data center servers and hardware environments, including AI infrastructure. This role focuses on diagnosing and repairing Dell PowerEdge servers at customer sites.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience with server hardware, be able to perform installs, replacements, firmware updates, and collaborate with client teams. This is an on-site, full-time position based in McCarran, NV.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on server hardware support in data centers or similar environments.
• Experience installing, removing, diagnosing, repairing, and replacing server components.
• Familiar with Linux or similar OS and server management tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and participate in on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support for Dell PowerEdge and enterprise servers.
• Diagnose, repair, and replace server hardware to minimize downtime.
• Perform rack-and-stack, cabling, and component swaps in data centers.
• Coordinate with customers and teams and document activities.
• Escalate complex issues and participate in on-call rotations.
• Use iDRAC or similar tools for firmware updates and management.
