Job summary

Ampcus Inc. is seeking an experienced On-Site Service Engineer to provide hands-on support for enterprise data center servers and AI infrastructure.

You will diagnose, repair, and maintain server hardware in a customer-facing environment, with a focus on minimizing downtime and ensuring system reliability. The role requires hands-on hardware work, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to communicate technical issues clearly.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise servers and data center hardware.
• Experience diagnosing, repairing, and replacing server components in data center or field service environments.
• Familiarity with Linux or Linux-like operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support for enterprise server hardware.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware failures to minimize downtime.
• Perform hardware installation, removal, and replacement of components (RAM, CPUs, power supplies, drives, GPUs).
• Troubleshoot BIOS/firmware and OS issues using documented procedures.
• Document service actions and communicate status with the client team.
• Participate in on-call rotations and weekly client touchpoints.
