Job summary

Pogue Construction is seeking a dedicated Special Projects Scheduler for a large-scale data center project. You will embed full-time on-site, owning and maintaining the master CPM schedule while coordinating with superintendents, owners, and trade partners to meet milestones and turnover targets.

The ideal candidate brings strong CPM expertise, experience with fast-track schedules, and a deep understanding of MEP, commissioning, and turnover processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction scheduling experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Demonstrated experience developing CPM schedules exceeding $50M in construction value.
• Experience supporting commissioning-intensive projects.
• OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the project's master CPM schedule throughout the life of the project.
• Work full-time on-site with the project team to monitor progress, identify risks, and drive schedule performance.
• Develop detailed baseline schedules, milestone schedules, recovery schedules, and what-if analyses.
• Collaborate with project leadership to establish sequencing strategies for structural, architectural, MEP, startup, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Lead weekly scheduling meetings with project teams, owners, consultants, and trade partners.
• Review subcontractor schedules and integrate them into the master project schedule.
• Perform critical path analysis and identify schedule impacts, delays, constraints, and recovery opportunities.
• Track schedule performance metrics and communicate schedule health to project leadership.
• Assist project teams in developing pull-planning sessions, short-term look-ahead schedules, and milestone recovery plans.
• Analyze labor loading, crew productivity, material procurement, long-lead equipment deliveries, and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate closely with MEP coordinators, VDC teams, commissioning agents, and field operations staff.
• Generate schedule fragnet analyses and support time extension requests when necessary.
• Produce executive-level schedule reports and dashboards for leadership and clients.
• Conduct field walks regularly to verify installation progress and validate schedule updates.
• Support startup, testing, commissioning, integrated systems testing, and turnover schedule requirements.
• Identify schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies before impacts occur.
• Maintain documentation supporting schedule updates, delays, and progress reporting.
• Understand, implement, and uphold Pogue procedures and processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
