Job summary

Pogue Construction is seeking a Special Projects (Data Center) Scheduler to develop, maintain, analyze, and communicate the project schedule. This role is embedded full-time on one data center project site and works closely with superintendents, project managers, owners, design teams, and trade partners to ensure milestones are met.

The ideal candidate has strong CPM scheduling expertise and experience supporting fast-track projects with aggressive delivery schedules.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction scheduling experience.
• Experience on mission-critical, data center, or highly technical projects preferred.
• Experience developing and maintaining CPM schedules exceeding $50M in construction value.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the project's master CPM schedule throughout the life of the project.
• Work full-time on-site with the project team to monitor progress, identify risks, and drive schedule performance.
• Develop detailed baseline schedules, milestone schedules, recovery schedules, and what-if analyses.
• Collaborate with project leadership to establish sequencing strategies for structural, architectural, MEP, startup, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Lead weekly scheduling meetings with project teams, owners, consultants, and trade partners.
• Review subcontractor schedules and integrate them into the master project schedule.
• Perform critical path analysis and identify schedule impacts, delays, constraints, and recovery opportunities.
• Track schedule performance metrics and communicate schedule health to project leadership.
• Assist project teams in developing pull-planning sessions, short-term look-ahead schedules, and milestone recovery plans.
• Analyze labor loading, crew productivity, material procurement, long-lead equipment deliveries, and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate closely with MEP coordinators, VDC teams, commissioning agents, and field operations staff.
• Generate schedule fragnet analyses and support time extension requests when necessary.
• Produce executive-level schedule reports and dashboards for leadership and clients.
• Conduct field walks regularly to verify installation progress and validate schedule updates.
• Support startup, testing, commissioning, integrated systems testing, and turnover schedule requirements.
• Identify schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies before impacts occur.
• Maintain documentation supporting schedule updates, delays, and progress reporting.
• Understand, implement, and uphold Pogue procedures and processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
