Nutrien Ag Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Crop Consultant in Iowa to build relationships with growers and grow our crop inputs business.

You will prospect new customers, advise on crop protection and fertilizer solutions, and help growers achieve higher yields with sustainable practices. The role emphasizes meeting sales goals, delivering quality products on time, and collaborating with Credit and support teams to service customers.

Qualifications

• University degree preferred; 5+ years agriculture experience acceptable in lieu of degree.
• 2+ years’ experience using standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the agriculture industry, including application of agricultural chemicals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop new prospects and interact with growers to boost inputs sales.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with on-time delivery and product quality.
• Develop strategies to increase sales of proprietary products.
• Consult with growers on agro issues and prescribe solutions.
• Perform initial credit review to assess risk for credit limits.
• Collect outstanding accounts receivable.
• Other duties as assigned.
