The Salvation Army seeks a PsychEd Counselor for Goose Creek Correctional Center in Wasilla, AK. This full-time, on-site role supports the ADOC SATS program under contract with the State, with a 40-hour work week and renewal options. Alaska certification is required to perform duties.

You will conduct SBIRT and ASAM assessments, develop treatment plans, facilitate groups, and document thoroughly to support client recovery and successful reentry.

Qualificações

• Alaska State Counselor Technician Certification is required.
• Knowledgeable of Substance Related and Addictive Disorders and its treatment.
• Experience with Alaska State Certification CDCI; CDCII preferred; able to obtain within 1 year.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a caseload and facilitate groups per approved curriculum.
• Perform SBIRT and ASAM assessments.
• Complete documentation in a timely fashion and in compliance with contract requirements.
• Provide treatment planning and reentry coordination as needed.
