Job summary

Qualifications

• Alaska State CDCI certificate or equivalent.
• CDCII certification within one year of hire.
• Three years of direct clinical experience in treatment of chemical dependency and co-occurring disorders.
• Expert knowledge of Substance Related and Addictive Disorders and its treatment.
• Must obtain Alaska CDCII within one year from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain caseload, facilitate groups, and conduct staff meetings.
• Supervise SATS Counselors and provide coaching or disciplinary actions as needed.
• Develop and conduct training sessions on chemical dependency and co-occurring disorders.
• Monitor delivery of services and ensure counselors follow approved curriculum.
• Prepare statistical and quality improvement reports in a timely manner.
• Maintain treatment plans and ensure client compliance with curriculum.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
