The Salvation Army Goose Creek Correctional Center in Wasilla, AK invites applications for a Dual Diagnosis Counselor. This full-time role supports SBIRT, ASAM assessments, and co-occurring disorders treatment within an ADOC/SATS program.

The selected candidate will maintain caseloads, facilitate groups, ensure compliance with contract requirements, and coordinate reentry planning, with Alaska certificates preferred and background checks required.

Formación

• Master's degree in Behavioral Health or related field with two years’ related experience.
• Knowledge of SRAAD and its treatment.
• Alaska State Certification CDCI/CDC II preferred; able to obtain CDCI within one year.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct SBIRT and ASAM assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Facilitate groups on chemical dependency, substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders.
• Maintain caseloads and ensure timely documentation per contract requirements.
