Qualifications

• Alaska State Counselor Technician Certification is required.
• Knowledgeable of Substance Related and Addictive Disorders and its treatment.
• Experience consistent with Alaska CDCI requirements; CDCII preferred.
• Must obtain Alaska CDCI Certification within one year from hire date.
• Must pass ADOC background check and PREA screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct SBIRT and ASAM assessments for clients.
• Facilitate groups addressing chemical dependency and related issues.
• Monitor treatment goal progress and curriculum completion.
• Complete documentation in a timely and contract-compliant manner.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
