Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or related field and at least 2 years of construction safety experience.
• CHST certification required or within two years of appointment.
• OSHA 30-hour training and current First Aid/CPR/BBP/AED certifications.
• Familiar with safety/environmental principles and applicable regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Travel may be required with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Educate project team on EH&S programs and ensure adherence to safety policies.
• Promote safe work practices in compliance with regulations and owner requirements.
• Build relationships with project teams and subcontractor safety reps.
• Develop and enforce the project safety program and conduct pre-planning with subcontractors.
• Coordinate training, pre-construction planning, and safety meetings.
• Create safety reports, analyze metrics, and recommend improvements.
• Administer drug screening as required and participate in risk mitigation.
