Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a Safety professional to Partner with EH&S and project teams to enforce site compliance with company and regulatory requirements on a single construction project. You will lead training of safe work practices and guide management of environmental and hazardous materials reports.

You will manage safety leadership, assess exposures, develop action plans, and ensure zero citations through adherence to EH&S policies and owner requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or related field.
• CHST certification required or within 2 years of appointment.
• OSHA 30-hour training and current First Aid/CPR/BBP/AED certifications.
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and local EH&S regulations.
• Strong leadership, teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead EH&S on a single construction project and enforce safety policies.
• Develop and deliver site-specific training on safe work practices.
• Identify and mitigate safety-related exposures and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct safety audits, toolbox talks, and preconstruction risk planning.
• Collaborate with project leadership to produce safety metrics and reports.
