Job summary

Accura Engineering & Consulting Services, Inc in Austin, TX seeks a Construction Control Representative to support Dyess AFB projects. The COR will be the on-site quality assurance representative, monitoring contractor performance, ensuring contract compliance, and aiding project delivery from pre-construction through closeout.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (degrees preferred), 5+ years in large federal construction, and DoD/USACE experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting large, complex construction projects.
• Experience with federal construction projects (DoD/AF/USACE) preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain access to military installations.

Responsibilities

• Observe and inspect construction activities for compliance with plans, specs, schedules, and safety rules.
• Conduct daily site inspections and document contractor performance and progress.
• Monitor schedules and inform the project team of delays or concerns.
• Review submittals and quality control/safety/environmental plans.
• Coordinate responses to RFIs with designers and engineers.
• Prepare correspondence on contractor performance and contract issues.
• Maintain project records, logs, reports, and inspection documentation.
• Support project closeout activities and turnover documentation.
