Job summary

Gilbane Building is seeking a Superintendent to independently supervise an area of trade contractors and manage work valued up to $30M. The role is on the job site daily and central to the project team’s success.

You will lead field coordination, safety, and schedule management, while applying a strong safety culture and proactive problem-solving to deliver on-time, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management is required.
• 4–8 years of experience on $15–$30 million projects in a superintendent role.
• OSHA 30-hour certified.
• STS-C Certification.
• First Aid, CPR, AED, Stop the Bleed Training.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day coordination of trade partners and sub-contractors to meet the approved project schedule.
• Develops, documents, and communicates the work plan for field changes.
• Maintains contract documents and proactively anticipates potential problems.
• Leads contractor meetings and safety programs on site.
• Creates and maintains the project schedule with contingency plans when needed.
• Oversees jobsite logistics and implements the project quality plan.
