Job summary

Gilbane is seeking a Superintendent to independently supervise an area of trade contractors on a project valued up to $30M. The role is on the job site daily as part of the project team, with opportunities for growth and development within Gilbane University.

The incumbent will coordinate with trade partners, lead meetings, manage schedules, and ensure safety and quality plans are followed on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 4–8 years on $15–$30M projects in superintendent role.
• OSHA 30-hour certification and STS-C.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day coordination with trade partners to meet schedule.
• Maintains project schedule and implements contingency plans.
• Ensures permits are obtained for construction.
• Leads contractor meetings and maintains daily reports.
• Upholds safety and quality plans across the site.
