Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the overall management of a homebuilding community in Scottsdale, AZ.

The role focuses on coordinating subcontractors, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely walks and inspections. Ideal candidates will have a GED or higher, 6 months to 2 years of related experience, and the ability to read plans. A valid driver's license and MS Office proficiency are required to support project

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months to 2 years of related construction experience.
• Able to read plans and construction documents.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive between sites.
• Strong communication skills and customer focus.
• Proficient with MS Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent with managing the job site and subcontractors.
• Schedule inspections and ensure quality and adherence to plans.
• Conduct homeowner walkthroughs and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Maintain safety standards and enforce site safety program.
• Support scheduling, material management, and cost control.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout construction.
