Job summary

D.R. Horton is seeking an Assistant Superintendent in Phoenix Central to support the construction of homes and supervise subcontractors while maintaining quality and customer service. You will assist in scheduling, inspections, safety enforcement, and maintaining DR Horton standards on-site.

The role requires coordinating with the Superintendent, reviewing plans, and ensuring projects stay on time and within budget, with a strong focus on workmanship and safety across communities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 2 years of related experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive between sites.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to read plans and other construction documents.
• Self-mufficient with minimal supervision.
• Ability to interact with customers and all management levels.
• Proficiency with DRH Construction applications on a device.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.
• Lift/move up to 50 pounds.

• Assist the Superintendent in managing the community job site.
• Schedule and supervise subcontractors.
• Maintain quality standards and safety compliance.
• Conduct homeowner walks and inspections.
