Job summary

The Community Builders, Inc. is seeking a Community Manager to lead on-site operations and manage the property operating budget under the Regional Director of Property Management. The role emphasizes cash-flow optimization, regulatory compliance, and excellent resident service.

Five days a week in office with responsibilities including team leadership, reporting, and coordination with HR. Strong financial acumen and knowledge of housing regulations are essential.

Qualifications

• BA/BS required with 5+ years in progressive property management or related field.
• Supervisory/management experience is required; COS/LIHTC/ARM/CPMC designations preferred.
• Strong budget and financial management skills; knowledge of regulatory housing laws.
• Proficiency with Yardi or similar property management software; MS Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; responsive customer service.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage operating budgets and financial reports.
• Oversee rent collection and nonpayment processes, and coordinate with collection agencies as needed.
• Ensure property compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and conduct inspections.
• Provide outstanding resident service and foster community engagement with resident associations.
• Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate on-site team members; collaborate with HR.
• Participate in trainings, attend meetings, and be available for emergencies and weekends.
