Job summary

Sun Communities is seeking a Community Manager to oversee operations, financial performance, and resident satisfaction for the community. The role requires 24/7 on-call availability and will manage marketing, leasing, maintenance, budgeting, and team performance to deliver a positive living environment.

Responsibilities include market homes, collect rent, approve evictions per policy, manage invoices, and ensure compliance with fair housing laws. On-site housing is provided for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in property management with at least 2 years in supervision.
• 6 months of prior sales and leasing experience required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to live on-site with housing provided.
• Knowledge of fair housing laws and employment law is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administrative functions, marketing, leasing, and sales of homes.
• Manage rent collection, invoicing, and delinquency handling per policy.
• Monitor invoices for operating expenses and costs; maintain budgets.
• Supervise team performance and ensure policy compliance across sites.
• Respond to resident concerns promptly and maintain curb appeal standards.
• Prepare sites for model homes and coordinate maintenance for move-ins.
