Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee operations of a housing community on-site under the Regional Manager. You will supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, financials, administration and risk management.

You will ensure compliance with company policies, safety and fair housing guidelines, drive budgeting, marketing, resident satisfaction, and timely reporting while leading a team to deliver outstanding service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Personnel Management and supervision of on-site staff.
• Develop and implement weekly office and maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety and fair housing guidelines.
• Achieve net operating income through cost control and revenue/leasing improvements.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts.
• Direct leasing: show, lease, move-in; maintain leasing reporting.
• Plan marketing and resident retention programs and events.
• Oversee vendor invoices and financial reporting; ensure timely closeout.
